Riaz is a SnowDancer lieutenant and works as the pack's business representative. He's mated to Adria Morgan and they're the main protagonists of the 11th book in the main series, Tangle of Need.
Biography[]
Childhood[]
When he was young, Riaz Delgado and his best friend Cooper Shaw got into all sorts of trouble,[1] such as getting caught along with Hawke Snow and Riley Kincaid for certain movies.[2]
Jorge, Riaz’s dad, was badly injured protecting the children when some of the SnowDancer dominants had been brainwashed by Psy to attack their own pack. Riaz had been really shaken at seeing his dad hurt, but he know even then that he was lucky to still have both his parents.[3]
SnowDancer[]
As a young man, Riaz was wild and intense.[4] He’d once been Indigo Riviere’s lover, but it was brief and casual.
Riaz is a lieutenant and was representative for SnowDancer's international business interests for years, traveling the world. During this time, he came to know Bowen Knight and thus became the pack liaison to the Human Alliance.[5]
Mating[]
During carnival in Venice, Riaz met Lissette and immediately felt the pull of mating, but she was already happily married to another man. He never told her that they were mates even though she obviously felt it, too. Needing the comfort of home, he returned home to the main SnowDancer den.
He went back to the main den of the SnowDancers and met senior soldier Adria Morgan during the battle with Pure Psy. They'd fought side by side. A laser burned his arm nearly to the bone and her shoulder was fractured, both of their eardrums shattered from a sonic blast. He shielded her so she could use a painkiller and get up and fight again.[2]
As Adria settled into the main den, they clashed due to their mutual attraction to each other, which Riaz resented because she wasn't his mate and felt torn because he felt he was being unfaithful to Lisette, even though she had no idea of what she was to Riaz. He vented his spleen on Adria, rather cruelly, until even he had to stop and realize the kind of man he was becoming in his bitterness. Giving in to his touch hunger, they agreed to be friends with benefits, but while neither of them was paying attention they fell in love with each other.
They eventually decided to stay together at the end of Tangle of Need, and in Allegiance of Honor, Riaz reveals the mating bond kicked in for the two of them.
Physical Appearance[]
He is 6' 2"[6] of solid muscle with dusky brown skin, jet black hair, and eyes of Spanish gold.[4] His scent is dark, like woodsmoke, with a touch of citrus.[7] There's a tattoo with jagged curves and lines[8] on the back of his left shoulder.[9] His voice is deep and smooth as caramel.[4]
His wolf has deep black fur and golden eyes.
Personality and Traits[]
He is strong, intense, determined and very protective. He is also highly dominant. He keeps his thoughts and emotions to himself.
He is a lone wolf who enjoys stretches of solitude and roaming.
Abilities and Skills[]
In addition to lieutenant, Riaz is a skilled sniper.[10] He acts as the business representative of the pack and served in this capacity abroad until he met Lisette and decided it was time to return home. In addition to English, he speaks Spanish.
He enjoys woodcarving.[11]
Relationships[]
He is the son of Abigail and Jorge Delgado. He has a niece called Marisol. His family is based in San Diego. The mating bond finally snapped into place for Adria Morgan in Allegiance of Honor.

The two lieutenants have been friends since they were kids. One stunt involved them wearing pink and purple ribbons.[1]

When he first met her, he felt the mating urge, but she was happily married to another human. She was unwilling to pursue a relationship and he accepted that. After beginning his own relationship, he felt the mating bond fade and, later, break away completely.

Riaz is friends with a fellow lone wolf, Pierce, a senior soldier from Alexei's sector. Pierce took over Riaz's duties as SnowDancer's business representative in Europe.[13]
