Bowen Knight is the Security Chief and unofficial leader of the Human Alliance. He's mated to Kaia Luna of BlackSea and they're the protagonists of Ocean Light, the 17th book in the overall series and the second in Psy/Changeling Trinity series.
Biography[]
Childhood[]
His parents were Jerard and Leah Knight, some of the leaders in the Human Alliance. Bowen was named after Adrian Bowen Kenner, his “great great many-times-over grandfather” who helped the varied groups of changelings negotiate a peace treaty to end their Territorial Wars in the 18th Century, and who first conceived of a human alliance. His parents adopted a little Chinese toddler named Lily and he instantly felt protective of her. He calls her Lilybit.
When Bo was about 13 years old, a beautiful Psy telepath viciously dug into his mind, attempting to kill him. She also nearly killed his best friend Cassias. Between the two of them, they killed her and frightened her young psy cohort away, who’d been their neighbor and was considered a friend. Bo drove a pen into the attacking psy’s carotid when Cassias distracted her. The two beautiful young psy were following orders, to harm the growing Human Alliance by attacking the sons of two Alliance leaders.
Adulthood[]
Ever since the psy attacked him in his youth, Bowen and his closest friends — his “knights” — have trained in martial arts, security, and surveillance, to become battle-hardened warriors and technology wizards, strong enough to unite humans and defend against psy.
Human Alliance[]
With much help from the wolves and leopards, Bowen and his nine well-trained knights got rid of the corruption in the Human Alliance. He made an error in judgment with the DarkRiver leopards by kidnapping lynx Nash Barker, which he regrets and made right by reaching out to Lucas Hunter and Hawke Snow.

After Bowen cleaned up the mess caused by a cabal led by the Alliance’s power hungry chairman, he became the security chief and de facto leader of the Human Alliance.
He was also one of the first in the alliance to try out the experimental inhibitor brain chip, to protect humans from telepathic invasion. The chip went bad. That plot line resolves in Ocean Light (book)

Bo has caramel/honey brown skin, dark brown eyes, wavy, soft ebony hair and is of Brazilian and Scottish descent. He is aged 31 in Ocean Light.

Tatiana Rika-Smythe had, had Bowen Knight abducted and held for her to reprogram herself. The Psy guards, however, were complacent and arrogant in their psychic abilities so Bo was able to easily eliminate all seven. He'd deliberately set himself up as bait, using a modified version of the chip Ashaya Aleine had been coerced into creating to enforce Silence on a biological level; the alterations block psychic interference.[1]
